Earlier this year, at the height of the bushfire crisis, we conducted a survey for the NSW Business Chamber that revealed two thirds of respondents had either cancelled or were thinking about cancelling upcoming travel as a result of the bushfires.
On the flip side, 85% of those surveyed said that the main reason in deciding to take a holiday in NSW in the near future is knowing that their holiday will support jobs in recovering communities. With 2020 in full swing and bushland flourishing thanks to recent rain, it is the perfect time to sneak away for a long weekend down the coast.
