Shop and you shall receive!

In July 2019, we asked over 1,000 Pureprofile members about their views on buy now, pay later payment services (BNPL). This is a way of shopping that allows you to delay payment or pay by instalments (often fortnightly) over a period of time, whilst receiving your product / service straight away. 

The aim of our survey was to find out how many people had tried a BNPL service, what kinds of things they were purchasing using BNPL and their habits around paying off their purchases.

Overall, 91% had heard of a buy now, pay later service whilst over half (53%) of the people surveyed had used a buy now, pay later service. Only 9% were not familiar with any of the listed buy now, pay later services.
